Take Your Dog Out with Confidence: “Petiquette” Training Program invites dog owners to join a session at Checkerspot Brewing Company where they will learn essential skills and etiquette for enjoying pet-friendly public spaces with their canine companions.

Presented by Fieldstone Animal Inn, this program focuses on teaching dogs polite behavior, safety, and stress-free outings. The goal is to ensure dogs stay calm, responsive, and unobtrusive in busy environments, such as restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Key skills include:

• Proper leash usage
• Respectful behavior around people and other dogs
• The “under” command to stay out of aisles
• Controlled walking and waiting
• Understanding your dog’s stress signals

The program aims to empower dog owners to enjoy more freedom while being responsible ambassadors for dogs in public spaces. Attendees are encouraged to bring their dog’s favorite treats, and extras will also be available.
